Tote Clean Out

Job Summary

Perform general production duties to provide support for production at Springboro facility. Clean totes as needed and use all equipment required.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment within Company specifications and procedures, as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
• Disassemble, clean out and reassemble totes and magnadrums. Disposing of excess product in totes to designated drums.
• Inspect totes for damages/ repair what you can.
• Update cleaning schedule/rotation document using bar code scanner.
• Use forklift and other hand tools. Will be trained by Sunstar to operate forklift and must meet requirements to operate.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• This position is also required to perform other related duties as assigned by the department manager or president.

Education & Experience Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or GED. General understanding of manufacturing and/or chemical environment preferred. Must possess basic math skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend and knee and stand for the majority of an 8-hour day in an environment consisting of heat, dust and dirt. Heavy lifting and excellent attendance are required. Forklift experience is preferred.
